Invisible Landscape

Invisible Landscape 景界
2026 | B/W & Color | sound | Super 8 & 16mm to HD | 12:06

An experimental landscape film drifting through the liminal space between the land of the living and the realm of the spirits. Shot in Taiwan over 18 years, the wandering eye of Super 8 captures fog-shrouded peaks, winding tunnels, hanging bridges, abandoned mines, dilapidated architecture, and desolate military bases on remote islands. The hand-developed film bears witness to artifacts of alchemical darkroom transformations, while the off-screen narrator whispers stories of eerie entanglements woven from family lore and personal encounters. Invisible Landscape attempts to trace what cannot be seen, through the process of documenting absence and void.
